The Arbiters of Alexandria are a  highly-fragmented faction of like-minded individuals who merge science and the occult in both their theory and practice. Their organization is grouped into 10 distinct sects, each with its own specialty.

The group’s funding is fluid, employing a communal funding system across all sects. The sources of these funds could be from day jobs, criminal activity, research grants, and possibly other unknown sources. The size of the group is large as a whole, but each individual sect is small and insular. Crosstalk between sects is minimal.

The general membership consists of men and women of science who have been touched by the occult in some way. Many members have physical modifications, some have gone as far as weaponizing these modifications. There are 8 distinct sects within the faction, each with a specialization. The focus of the faction’s work and research centers around quantum computing, necromancy, nanotechnology, and blood magic. Each sect specializes in either one topic, or focuses on hybridization of two disciplines.

The structure of this group prevents most information from being accidentally leaked. Individuals are typically zealous in regards to information security. Offline security is contextually average, with more attention paid to protecting research investments than personally identifying information in many cases.
